Skylar and TJ’s wedding day at RiverView Family Farm was pure magic. What truly made June 7th, 2025 unforgettable was the sheer joy radiating from the very first moments of the day, when Skylar was getting her make-up done, all the way to the very end, when they ran through thousands of bubbles as husband and wife. All day, these two couldn’t stop giggling, sneaking glances, and sharing belly laughs—it was contagious in the best way possible, and such a dream to photograph!
TJ had one non-negotiable request for their wedding day: no first look. He wanted the first time he saw Skylar to be when she was walking down the aisle—and oh my goodness, his reaction was everything. He absolutely lost it in the sweetest way, crying happy tears as he watched the love of his life walking down the aisle toward him. It was one of those moments you could feel in your chest—so raw, so real, and so full of love. I definitely had to wipe a tear or two away from behind my camera!
Skylar and TJ’s chemistry was electric, and their joy was absolutely genuine. You can always tell when a couple just loves being around each other, and these two couldn’t stop smiling whenever they were together. From the silly stories told during their vows to full-on giggle fits during portraits, their love story was overflowing with happiness—and it came through in every single photo.
After the ceremony, we stole them away for some “just married” portraits, and out of no where came a little rain storm. But instead of letting the weather dampen their spirits, Skylar & TJ embraced it, laughing and holding each other close under clear umbrellas. And then later one in the night, when it was time of sunset portraits, the rain cleared and the sky turned the softest shade of pink as the sun set over the water. When it came time to celebrate, Skylar and TJ’s crew showed up for them. The dance floor was packed all night long—nonstop dancing, cheering, and pure celebration. It was the perfect end to a day that was so full of joy and love and laughter. We left RiverView Family Farm (one of our favorite Knoxville venues) with full hearts and our memory cards bursting with laughter, happy tears, and love that you could literally see in every photo. Skylar and TJ, thank you for letting us capture your joy—we’ll be smiling about your day for a long, long time.
